This is a five-day event in December 2022 will be held at the at the Historic McSwain Home.
Monday, December 5th through Friday, Dec. 9th, from 4:30 to 7 pm nightly
Businesses, clubs and families can donate themed holiday trees and wreaths displayed for the community to enjoy on exhibit in the McSwain House throughout the week.
Admission is a $5 donation. The festival will take place at the newly renovated McSwain House located at 27451 Old 41 Road (with entrance off of Felts Ave), in downtown Bonita Springs.
Any business or not for profit can enter a tree or wreath on display at no cost. There are requirements for tree sizes from 4 ft- 7.5 ft. only 15 trees and 10 wreaths will be accepted. To enter, applications are due November 19th. Decorated trees and wreaths must be brought to the McSwain Home on Saturday, December 3rd between the hours of 10- 3 p.m. for set up purposes. There will be $1000 in prize money for Best of Show, Second, and Third Place.
Each evening a different music group or performer will play at the McSwain House, from children and adult choirs. Light refreshments will be provided nightly.
The trees and wreaths will be on sale though a silent auction bidding system. The money raised from the week-long event, will be used to continue improvements to the historic home. Many thanks to the Bay Water Boat Club Foundation, the major and sponsor of the event.
